Drawing Teeth

When drawing teeth, it is helpful to draw them as if they are being gently carved out of a single piece of enamel. If drawn independently, they can give off the unrealistic resemblance to chiclets. Another helpful technique is to vary the intensity of the contour lines as you draw their shape from top to bottom and avoid the urge to draw perfect edges. Teeth are another identifying feature of the body therefore special attention should be paid to their unique qualities and imperfections when drawing them.
